Professional Background: 
Stéphane Richard is an experienced international telecommunications and financial services executive. Previously, he served as Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Orange, where he led the group’s strategic transformation, expanded its operations in Africa and the Middle East, and oversaw the development of mobile financial services, including Orange Money.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Veolia Environment, served as Chief of Staff to the French Minister of Economy, and began his career in the French Inspectorate of Public Finance.

He has also served as Chairman of the GSMA and as a Commissioner of the United Nations Broadband Commission. He is currently a Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners, a global financial advisory firm.
