Chairman of the Group Risk Management & Compliance Committee, and member of the Group Audit Committee. 

Professional Background: 
Ignatius Sehoole is a highly experienced chartered accountant and business leader with extensive executive and non‑executive board experience across the public and private sectors. He was the CEO of KPMG in South Africa until his retirement in 2026.

He previously served as Vice President: Southeast Africa at MTN Group, where he was responsible for regional operations, profitability and balance sheet management. Prior to this, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PwC Southern Africa and Executive President of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).

He is currently self‑employed as an independent consultant and serves as an independent non‑executive director, including ongoing roles at SacOil Holdings Limited, where he also chairs the Investment Committee. He has held numerous board and audit committee chair roles at listed companies and public institutions.

Qualifications: Baccalaureus Commercii, Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours, Certificate in Theory of Accountancy, Diploma: General Management and Chartered Accountant (SA) – SAICA member
