16 September 2026

MTN One TV is opening new doors for African storytellers, inviting producers from across the continent to pitch bold, authentic and commercially compelling film and culturally relevant projects directly to the platform.

The initiative will come to life through two of Africa’s leading film and television industry platforms: Durban FilmMart, where MTN One TV is a Gold Sponsor, and MIP Africa at FAME Week Africa, where MTN One TV is a Platinum Sponsor.

At both events, selected creators will have the opportunity to pitch their projects directly to MTN One TV and engage with industry leaders, creating a potential pathway for promising African stories to move from concept towards development and wider audiences.

The initiative is also an expression of MTN’s broader Ambition 2030 strategy. Through its Connectivity platform, MTN aims to do more than connect people to networks.
