Our approach to CSI is to systematically address job creation, enhance competitiveness and drive inclusive growth.
We do so while ensuring that we maintain an emphasis on addressing National priority areas aligned with the National Development Plan of each of our markets.

Reaching the most vulnerable members of society
As one of the largest digital providers on the continent our footprint in youthful markets is far greater than any other provider globally. Digital solutions are essential to addressing the challenges of youth empowerment, digital skills development, and job creation. Our youth empowerment focused on scholarships, capacity building, the promotion of ICT skills and access to digital content, as well as entrepreneurship.

To guarantee that everyone deserves the benefit of a modern connected life, we ensure that men and women benefit equally from ICT. This assists in reducing inequalities which exist in society. We actively strive to ensure that girls and women have the necessary skills and knowledge to understand, develop content, participate in and benefit fully from ICTs and their applications.
Our 21 Days of Y’ello Care employee volunteering programme gives MTNers the opportunity to contribute to the communities in which we operate. This gives staff the opportunity to volunteer their time, skills and personal resources to create a positive impact on society.
