Integrating sustainability
In line with the recommendations of the King III Code on Governance Principles for South Africa (King III), we published our first integrated report covering the financial year beginning on 1 January 2010 and ending on 31 December 2010.
During 2011, MTN undertook a group-wide strategic review as part of our internal integration drive, embedding prioritised material sustainability issues such as energy efficiency into our operations.
This year, as an outcome of our integrated strategy review, we have refocused our sustainability strategy, initiatives and report into three streamlined focus areas that support our business strategy.
