Leadership accountability
In 2011, management of the Group Corporate Affairs function was moved to the Office of Group Executive for Human Resources (now the Group Chief Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Officer). The structure within which sustainability is governed within MTN is indicated below.
Part of the governance structure supporting integration of social and environmental concerns into our operations is the development of the Social and Ethics Committee. The terms of reference for the committee have been set and the first meeting took place early in 2012.
