MTN confirms security breach in Ghana

The MTN Group can confirm that there was a security breach at one of the hotels accommodating MTN guests attending the opening ceremony of the MTN Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Accra, Ghana. The passports of some guests were stolen.

MTN is working with the South African High Commission in Ghana to facilitate the travel arrangements of the South African guests back home. MTN is grateful for the support of the SA High Commissioner, His Excellency Rapu Molekane, and the local security authorities of Ghana.
